The design is doing something more considered than it first appears. The base is a boxy, oversized, spread-collar shirt with full sleeves, a straight button placket and a curved hem, cropped to sit at or just above the natural waist. On top of that, Bewakoof has placed cream floral applique patches, one on the left shoulder and one on the lower right front panel, plus a small paisley-style motif visible on the front. Put together, that is a boxy shirt with dropped shoulder seams, wide sleeves that taper only slightly to a buttoned cuff, and a body that hangs straight from the shoulder rather than following the waist. The crop is aggressive: on the model the hem sits above the waistband of high-rise trousers with a visible gap, and the curved hemline means the side seams finish higher than the centre front and back, which is what stops a cropped boxy shirt from reading like a rectangle.

The collar and placket. This is a proper spread collar with a stand, not a flat camp collar, which is why the shirt still looks structured when worn fully buttoned. The fabric, stated honestly. The listing says only "Premium Blended Fabric". A blend at this price band and with this surface finish typically means a viscose or polyester-led shirting rather than cotton, and the way the fabric falls on the model, with soft vertical folds rather than the crisper break you get from cotton poplin, is consistent with that. The practical consequences of a smooth blend are predictable: excellent drape, low wrinkling, fast drying, and colour that holds well through repeated washes. The cost is breathability. A smooth blend sits closer to the skin and moves less air than a loose cotton weave, so in 35°C-plus humidity it will feel warmer than a cotton shirt of the same weight.

Sizes and colours. Five sizes, XS, S, M, L and XL, in two colourways: Onion Pink and Jet Black. That is a narrower size ladder than the brand's parachute pants, which run to 3XL, and is worth noting if you sit above XL.

Styling reality: it is a high-waist-only garment. The single biggest practical constraint on this shirt is the crop.
