Engage, ITC's fragrance brand, built its name on deodorants and 'pocket perfumes', and W2 is one of its longest-running women's perfume sprays, first listed on Amazon.in in January 2017. It has 12,861 ratings averaging 4.1 stars, a strong number for any beauty product.

The headline is price. At ₹120 for 120ml, W2 costs ₹1 per ml, roughly a third of what budget Eau de Parfums cost. The listing title describes it as floral and fruity with berries, orchid and vanilla, claims 24-hour freshness, and highlights no parabens, no silicones and dermatological testing. It is a 0% gas spray, so it is a liquid perfume rather than an aerosol deodorant.

W2 is not trying to be a luxury perfume. It is meant to be sprayed generously on body and clothes and reapplied when needed. In this review we look at the notes, what the 12,000-plus buyers say about longevity, and how it compares with Engage's own women's gift set and the Bella Vita Date and Senorita duo. We have not run a controlled wear test; performance notes come from the listing and buyer feedback.

W2 comes in a tall, slim glass bottle with a gold collar and cap, a soft orange-gold gradient and a purple Engage label marked 'W2 Floral Fruity'. It looks more upmarket than its price and is slim enough for a handbag. The listing gives dimensions of 4.2 x 15.7 x 4.2 cm and a 120 g weight.

Character. Buyers love W2 for its flowery, sweet notes and describe it as feminine and attractive, with some mentioning compliments. The berry and peach opening gives way to jasmine and orchid, then a sweet vanilla-caramel base.

Longevity. The title claims 24-hour freshness. Buyers report mixed longevity: some say it lasts long and keeps them fresh through the day, others say it does not stay on for very long. As a perfume spray rather than an EDP, it is lighter by design, so plan to reapply. At ₹1 per ml, reapplying costs very little.

Projection. Expect a soft, close-to-skin sweetness after the first hour. That makes it suitable for classrooms, offices and public transport.

On clothes. The listing explicitly says W2 can be used on body and clothes. Fabric tends to hold sweet vanilla bases longer than skin, which is the easiest way to extend wear.
