Let's be honest about what this is and isn't. At this price you are buying a 38 cm tall lamp with a wooden tripod base, a linen-textured fabric drum shade, an E27 bulb socket and an in-line push-button switch. There is no included bulb, no smart connectivity, no actual hardware-level dimming. The aesthetic is genuinely good for the money; the engineering is utility-grade. Across 85 verified Amazon.in ratings the lamp averages 3.8★ — and the negative reviews follow a clear pattern (tripod stability, unpolished wood, "I expected dimming"). This review tells you what you actually get and where the gaps are so you can decide whether ₹556 is well spent.

The lamp arrives flat-packed in three pieces: the tripod base (three pinewood legs pre-attached to a central wooden hub with the bulb socket and cord coming out of it), the fabric drum shade and the bulb (which Homesake does not include — you add your own E27 LED separately). Assembly takes under five minutes, no tools required: the shade simply sits over the bulb on a metal harp.

The pinewood legs are visibly unpolished — sanded but not lacquered, sealed or stained beyond the natural finish.
