In daily use the 9a feels quick and stutter-free: launching apps, swiping through Instagram, processing a Magic Editor shot or running Gemini Live all happen without the lag you would expect at this price. Where Tensor G4 trails Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones (OnePlus 15, Galaxy S26 Ultra) and even the newer Tensor G5 in the Pixel 10 Pro XL is sustained gaming and benchmark peaks. Push BGMI on HDR + Ultra graphics or Genshin Impact at 60 fps for 30+ minutes in an Indian summer (35 °C+ ambient) and you will feel the back warm up and see frame rates dip.
